What your IT person will ask

Does it collect anything about our visitors?: No. No cookies, no tracking scripts, no third parties, no personal data. We count how many times the box was displayed so we can tell you whether it is being used. Nothing else.
Will it slow our page down?: It is a single self-contained frame with no external fonts, images or libraries. It loads independently of your page and cannot block it.
Can it break our site or conflict with our theme?: No. It is an iframe, so its styling is completely isolated from yours. It cannot read or change anything on your page.
What happens when someone clicks it?: A new tab opens on our free scam checker. They paste the message they received and get an explained read of the warning signs. No account, and the message is never stored.
What does it cost, and what is the catch?: Nothing, and there isn’t one. More people using the checker makes it better at recognising what is circulating. That is the whole exchange.
How do we remove it?: Delete the line. There is nothing else to undo.
